Rick is a friend of mine who started a group called Sonkei Blue. Sonkei means Respect in Japanese. Rick, who is Japanese descent and is a cop brought together other cops from all levels and all agencies around SoCal to show their appreciation of cars and for respect for the badge. These guys grew up into cars and what they are trying to show young people today is that they understand how much fun it is to have a car and to do stuff to it.. they are not looking to just randomly bust people... and in fact they are interested in what you are building too! The message is that we all just need to work together, respect each other and we can all have lots of fun with cars!!!
